In His Right Mind? I look at him, into his beautiful blue-green eyes, and something tells me he’s not here with me and I wonder what he thinks.  

Does he sit in a field of wildflowers, trying to catch the bees?  
Does he look at his mother and see a beautiful individual who loves him?
Does he go to his house ad see a haven of safety and love?

Or does he sit in a room, abandoned, alone, devoid of any human contact?
Does he look at his mother and see a woman who couldn’t stand the sight of him?
Does he go into his house, only to find that it has been ransacked, his haven destroyed?

True There are two people in my life that I love as if they were my own family.  

They are my soul mates.

They have exquisite minds, and their penchant for writing is as much a part of them as their heart.  
I wish I had their ability to take words, let them flow through me and out the tip of the pen as they decorate the paper with their beauty.  But I don’t.  So here I sit, trying as I might to make sense of the thoughts that wrestle and fight in my head and crash land onto the paper, smudging it with ink.

They argue, they fight, just as any two people do, but they are different.  TTrue by ~glacialeyes
My Lifelines I have had to wait until I was 15 to find my two best friends.  All those years believing I had found it when I was simply wasting my time with them.  Though was it wasted?  These past friendships taught me how to recognize what true friends really are.

It is hard to describe my relationship with my friends.  Simply put, we are one person.  We feel the same things, the same pain, we think the same thoughts and we share the same happiness.  We have all had broken hearts; all form different people, all for different reasons.  And we have healed them.  It is becauMy Lifelines by ~glacialeyes

There are violins and soft voices
This breaking is the most beautiful ballet I have ever seen
The dancers do not know how to dance
We stumble along but our feet make no noise as they hit the ground
This is an amazing silence
Even though I see our mouths are open
Like were all screaming
All accept one
In this room of mirrors
I see the hatred in our eyes.
But no one seems to care
The lights flash on in beautiful colors
The spot light hits the girl in the red dress for her solo scream
She makes her tall body taller reaching up on her tiptoes
Bloodied ballet shoes

They yearn to hear the lies
She is perfect
She is beautiful
These words aren’t real life

But they play in the back of every little girl’s daydreams
She wants to hear
That he loves her
Wants to think
That she’s his life
Wants to know
That she’s his everything
And that’s why he took the time
To scribble down
Words perfectly planned out to rhyme
These silly girls
Don’t know what they are asking for

Tell me what I mean to you?
Rosy cheeks with low self esteem
Tell me why who picked me
With their sad eyes they plead

im sorry mom for what i did
for lying
for allowing you to defend me
for not giving you reason to trust me.
i know you want me out
i can see it
you mention how i felt when i was betrayed
and you say you feel the same way.
hatred.
i hate what i did.  
it wasnt worth it.
i wasnt good enough to be there earlier
but i was at 12:30.
i wish i had never done it.
i wish i hadnt goten that call
i wish i hadnt been compelled to do it.
but i was.
and i regret it
i regret the etire night.
it was fun at the time.
i didnt think youd find out
and so i threw caution to the wind
and let it go.
but i hurt you, and him, and her and him.
im a total fuckup.
